Lise Marlowe

Philadelphia, PA

Lise Marlowe is a 6th grade teacher at Elkins Park School in Cheltenham School District and has been a Holocaust Educator for over 20 years. She was named the national History Channel “Teacher of the Year” in 2006. Mrs. Marlowe received the award from First Lady Laura Bush at the White House along with a grant to continue saving local history with her students. The History Channel sent Mrs. Marlowe to join Mrs. Bush at the 2006 Preserve America Youth Summit in New Orleans where Mrs. Marlowe co-wrote a plan to preserve local history for educators.

Other awards Mrs. Marlowe received include the Pennsylvania Council for the Social Studies Elementary Teacher of the Year Award and the NAACP Freedom Fund Award. Mrs. Marlowe is currently serving as Chair of the Education Committee at the Holocaust Awareness Museum in Philadelphia. Other books Mrs. Marlowe has written include, “Back in Time with Cheltenham,”Frederick Douglass’ Dream: The Story of the United States Colored Troops,” “Renate: A Jewish girl who escaped Nazi Germany,” “Bringing Beauty into the World: The life of Harry Somers,” and “David Tuck: A Story of Holocaust Survival.” All books are available on Amazon.

Sindee Levin

Los Angeles, CA

Ms. Levin is a veteran entertainment attorney whose credentials include business affairs at major film studios, music publishing, mechanical rights collection and private practice. She is a well-respected authority that insures her clients will be represented and fairly compensated for their creative efforts.

Her legal career began at Wyman, Bautzer, Rothman, Kuchel & Silbert, a firm that represented MGM/UA among other mega-clients. The breakthrough Taylor Hackford film, La Bamba, was a prediction of Levin’s future axis of music and cinema.

La Bamba director, Taylor Hackford, became a principal executive at New Visions Pictures where Ms. Levin was appointed Vice President of Business Affairs. In this position Levin handled agreements related to music acquisition, rights and copyright and negotiated and drafted agreements for motion pictures and television.

In mid-1992 Sindee Levin Music was launched and is a thriving domestic and international publishing and royalty collection agency. “Our company has had great success in purchase of and increasing profitability for music client’s catalogs,” says Levin.

In 1998, Levin acquired the American Mechanical Rights Agency, Inc. and served as its President. In the ever-shifting world of global transmission, AMRA offered expert guidance through all emerging technologies and new media formats. The client roster included jazz luminaries like Keith Jarrett, Meredith Monk, Dave Holland and the estate of the legendary vocalist, Nina Simone. In 2014 Levin sold AMRA to Kobalt, and has been retained as a Consultant for several years.

Levin, a Hollywood veteran has invaluable contacts, education and expertise; she is a powerful advocate for songwriters, composers, recording artists, music publishers and record labels. A noted expert who speaks at conferences, panels and seminars nationwide, she is a well-versed authority on international as well as domestic business models.

Rabbi Yoshi Zweiback

Rabbi Yoshi Zweiback, Senior Rabbi, Stephen Wise Temple and Wise School in Los Angeles, CA was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Princeton University in 1991 and was ordained as a Rabbi by the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion in 1998. He trained as a Jewish Educator at HUC’s Los Angeles campus, where he received a M.A. in Jewish Education.

He served Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills, California, as Rabbi and educator for eleven years, until moving to Israel with his family in 2009 to become the Director of HUC’s Year-in-Israel program. In addition to overall management of the graduate level program, he served as an instructor in Jewish Liturgy.

Rabbi Zweiback is a lecturer at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles, and a Senior Rabbinic Fellow of the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. He is also the volunteer Executive Director and Founder of Kavod, a non-profit tzedakah collective which is dedicated to protecting human dignity.

Rabbi Zweiback is also an author, musician and composer. His publications include the teacher’s guide to Shalom Ivrit II; Day of Days; and Days of Wonder, Nights of Peace: Family Prayers in Song for Morning and Bedtime. As part of Mah Tovu, he has released three albums, published two books, and performed across the United States.
He is married to Jacqueline Hantgan and, together, they are the proud parents of three daughters.
