It began with a 2017 documentary about Joe Engel (84009), a Survivor of Birkenau and Auschwitz.
The bravery, humility and candor exhibited by Joe in the making of his program inspired us to ensure that not only would his story be told through time immemorial, but that other living Survivors, and the families of Survivors who have passed on, would have the opportunity to have their personal stories immortalized.
The Holocaust Education Film Foundation was established to build an international, interactive online community one Holocaust Survivor Story at a time; ensuring we “Never Forget.”
