Alexander Fox graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design’s Film/ Video program in 1999, and has been working as a multidisciplinary creative – photographer, video director, graphic/web designer – in Charleston, SC ever since. In addition to documentary work, he has lensed commercial projects for clients as diverse as LeCreuset, Philips, Belmond/Orient Express, Crescom Bank, and the Golf Academy of America. In addition to agency and client-direct work, Alex created a DSLR video training program – 5D Film School – and published several eBooks on photo & video technique.

Design Specialist

Charleston native, John Chitwood, was encouraged by his family to pursue his artistic talent early on. In 1988 he graduated from Ringling School of Art & Design, and returned to Charleston to forge a life as a successful graphic artist and member of the creative community. He has been a partner in two marketing agencies, and a website development firm, and has also worked for publishers and printers – affording him an extremely well rounded design pedigree.

In 2000 John opened Renaissart Graphic Design on upper King St. Sharing the studio with an architect and a photographer actually inspired the company name. It was truly a Renaissance environment. Renaissart Design has recently relocated to Mt Pleasant, where it continues to shares space with other creative businesses.

Post-Production Supervisor

David Jones has worked in film and television production for more than 30 years, beginning as a Producer/Director and eventually leading to his passion as an Editor. This renowned “storyteller” has always been enamored of the power of the moving image and the range of emotions it conveys. Known as an “editor’s editor” David has worked on hundreds of long-form programs, including the award-winning and highly acclaimed Allen Toussaint at the Blue Room (PBS), New Orleans Jazz Funerals from the Inside (PBS), Not for Broadcast (Comedy Central), Degas in New Orleans: A Creole Sojourn (Degas Foundation – PBS), Living Beyond 100 and This Fragile Planet (Discovery Kids) to name just a few of the many.

After Effects Artist

John Beyer has been editing and animating for over 25 years, having worked for all manner of clients, from Subway to SHELL Oil to Fox 32 in Chicago (where he was part of the Emmy award winning TASTE OF CHICAGO team). One of his favorite jobs was helping put together videos for the World War II Museum in his hometown of New Orleans, as his grandfather was a Naval Captain that served in Normandy on D-Day. He is very excited to be a part of the team that seeks to raise the profile of holocaust survivors and continue his grandfather’s legacy of preventing genocide, and the Jewish legacy of “Never again.”

Cinematographer, Los Angeles

Felix Arceneaux started his career behind the camera while a student at the University of Texas where he earned a BFA in TV and Film Production. Following graduation he moved to Los Angeles; quickly climbing the ranks, all the while honing his skills in photography and cinematography working in various rental facilities learning the gear from every aspect. Currently a Union freelance cameraman with the International Cinematographers Guild (Local 600) since 2003.

Felix has worked extensively in China, Japan, Germany and France, as well as 40 US States with such venerable companies as Apple, General Motors, ABC, NBC, ESPN, T-Mobile, Verizon, Philip Morris and many others. And now we welcome him as the west coast Cinematographer for the Holocaust Education Film Foundation where he has already shot the Robert Clary interview.
